Sourcing Leader - EMEA Line of Business

Honeywell SPS in Hegnau is looking for a proactive sourcing leader to lead our EMEA Gas entities (direct material), whilst procuring parts, goods and services at the lowest total acquisition cost to the business whilst maintaining and exceeding targets set for supplier quality and OTTR performance, ensuring continuity of supply throughout the supply chain. In this exciting role, you will implement Value Managed Inventory across all sites.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Work with the Site leadership team in the scope to develop and implement specific HIS Sourcing EMEA commodity goals, e.g.:

  • Cost Deflation – lead year over year supplier negotiations and timely implementation of savings
  • Supplier Consolidation/ Reduction
  • Develop and maintain Preferred Supplier listing
  • Cycle-time and Inventory Reduction – lead-time and delivery, Plan for every Part/ Supplier
  • Drive Payables improvement thru extended payment terms
  • Identify and drive Emerging Region sourcing
  • Supplier Quality Development and Workshops to drive cost out and value in
  • Identify raw material availability and proactive risk management
  • Analyze and monitor our supplier’s financial strengths and risks
  • Achieve productivity and contribute to quality, delivery and inventory targets by leveraging spend across HIS EMEA
  • Support NPI projects and develop strategy for Sourcing involvement
  • HOS Sourcing Deployment to meet the standard work requirements
  • Business Alignment Events to professionally integrate suppliers into NPI + cost optimize existing products and solutions

2.Develop, maintain, and communicate year over year AOP commodity planning based project decks with sourcing leadership. Develop a forward strategy based on 1 year and 5 year goals. Follow and contribute to ISC STRAP.

3.Ensure AOP projects align with NPI site projects to ensure early supply chain involvement.

4. Drive Common process usage and E-Sourcing activities

5. Serve as a site + commodity information expert on global supply markets. Act as a liaison between SPS Commodity leadership and the HIS site participants.

6. Comply with approved HIS/ SPS / Honeywell sourcing policies and procedures.

7. Supplier Relationship / Visits – perform Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers

8. Backup for operational/ tactical sourcing

20 Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies

20 Right and Fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth and New Product Introductions

20 Manage Site Category and Commodity Strategies

20 Negotiation, Contracting and supplier performance processes

20 Ensure Relationship development and management with key Supplier Leadership

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Degree in engineering, business, or related field
  • Extensive experience in supply chain/procurement
  • Ability to operate within a matrix organizations
WE VALUE
  • Working and/or Leading in Site Team Environments
  • Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
  • Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
  • Team Leader experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business
  • Demonstrated Business and financial acumen
  • Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, E Sourcing Platforms, Request for Quotation Tools, Project Management Tools
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
  • Masters Degree
