Honeywell Process Quality Engineer in United States

·Process and product quality:

·Defines, implements and monitors tracking system for quality of production processes and ensures:

·Conducting inspections and checking machining and assembly processes;

·Compliance in production processes with the requirements of quality procedures and the rules associated with them;

·Daily recording of quality indicators specific to production processes;

·Internal product and process audits and the definition and implementation of action plans related to audits;

·Periodically review of process capabilities and carrying out the initial capabilities for new products or processes;

·Blocking deliveries of products that do not meet the specifications of the control plan;

·Supervising the internal homologations for machining and assembly processes;

·Training of operators, process quality inspectors and process quality technicians the field of quality;

·Recording traceability and process flow of non-compliant parts;

Preparation of requests for exemptions regarding process and product quality;

·Reports daily quality indicators specific to production processes (internal PPM , scrap and rectification costs, compliance to internal audits, process capabilities).

·Defines, implements and monitors action plans and projects for continuous improvement of quality indicators;

·Prepares client audits and internal process and system audits, at department level;

·Defines implements and monitors corrective action plans resulting from the non-conformities identified during the client, process and system audit at department level.

Leads analysis to identify the causes that led to internal quality incidents or complaints from customers and communicates analysis report to production dept PC.

·Defines and monitors corrective action plans resulting from internal quality incidents and from the nonconformities signaled by customers;

·Approves quality documents specific to production department PC (procedures, acceptance criteria, instructions, FMEA's and quality plans, etc.).

·Participates in drafting documents for internal homologation processes under the homologation procedure.

·Participates in the preparation and updating of FMEA-s for products and processes;

·Validates the rules of acceptance for incoming parts and subassemblies and assemblies produced;

·Ensures the module general panels display the quality results daily, weekly and monthly.

·Decides to stop production in case of a quality risk and informs the supervisor according to the escalation matrix

·Acts in accordance with Honeywell behavioral attributes and achieves their performance goals set by manager through HPD

·Uses LSW in their daily activities and reviews the content quarterly.

·Contributes actively to continuously improve plant performance: consistently identifies opportunities to eliminate losses and proposes solutions to improve their own and the plant activities.

·Proposes the number of ideas Kaizen / month in accordance with the objectives of the plant.

·Attends all meetings at which their function is required (daily meetings at 1,2,3 or 4 level, as appropriate, weekly / monthly meetings, etc.)

·Ensures that daily time sheets they are responsible for are brought up to date and the information is accurate

·Coordination of quality process team

·Performs performance appraisal of subordinates

·Quality management, environmental and safety management

·Observe the duties and responsibilities regarding safety and environmental protection

·Participates in level 2 and 3 meetings, as required by HOS;

·Operates according to the Standard Operating Form

·Takes over Production Manager duties in their absence, within their competence;
