The role is a Logistics Lead and is required to perform the following:
Lead and manage the performance of the receiving and shipping functions of the logistics team which comprise of 8 members
Perform Tier 1 daily and ensure logistics issues are being attended to and resolved promptly
Make sure that logistics performance are measured and monitored closely
Work closely with team members at their workplace and making sure that ad-hoc issues are being addressed correctly and able to hands-on and step up to support the team when needed
Support the site to meet the key metrics (Sales, OTTR, Freight cost)
Act as Export Compliance Officer (ECO)* for the site and ensure site meet the standards required as ECO
Act as Import Compliance Officer (ICO) for the site and ensure site meet the standards required as ICO
Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) as when necessary
Participate in ad-hoc projects as when required to support improvement projects at the workplace
20 Day-to-day tracking of logistic activities
20 Monitor inbound deliveries,Investigate missed shipments
20 Handle issues at Customs,Monthly logistic cost control
20 Coordinate and implement logistical projects
20 Develop logistic solutions
Diploma / Degree holder
Strong leadership and with Logistics background/experience in warehousing (2-3 years of supervisory/people management experience)
Good export control experience and knowledge
Familiar with Strategic Goods Control Act/Regulation
Understand ITAR and EAR legislation
Good skills in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
Self-motivated and can do attitude and ability to influence and lead team
