Be an integral part of the development of a new generation of factory systems within our Richardson Semiconductor Fabrication Plant, at the heart of the Internet of Things (IOT) Revolution.

Be involved in cross-functional teams working to reduce scrap, prevent yield excursions, improve manufacturing efficiency, and facilitate the transformation of the factory technologically.

Support manufacturing and engineering in converting business requirements into real solutions within our new manufacturing execution system (MES), and other factory systems.

Participate in the development, deployment, and use of new factory systems in the creation of a new connected or “Smart Factory”.

Understand and manage application configuration for all MES deployed environments (Dev, Integration, QA, Production), including appropriate processes, proper documentation and release versioning.

Work with local and outsourced infrastructure, database, and server support teams to plan and execute MES and related application upgrades.

Develop your own and review vendor estimates for design and development efforts including validating task estimates.

Implement technical designs for the desired MES development framework supporting delivery of a quality code base within project timelines. 10% travel required.

Lead / Participate in business, functional, and user interface design processes for the MES solution.

Lead / participate in code reviews, design enhancement sessions, and other activities to continuously improve the quality of the MES framework.

Provide ongoing operational support for deployed environments.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) architecture / development & deployment experience.
  • 2+ years of mission critical software project delivery in manufacturing environments.
  • 2+ years of software development and design experience working with C#, Microsoft Visual Studios, VB .NET, Java, and Web Services functions.
  • 2+ years of MS SQL relational data base experience.
  • Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and supply chain principals

WE VALUE

  • Development and deployment experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Critical Manufacturing, Camstar, Eyelit, SAP ME, Apriso, Work Stream, Factory Works, PROMIS
  • Experience working in or supporting Semiconductor Front End or Back End manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of software development experience working with MES platforms within Semiconductor Mfg.
  • Participation in 3+ full lifecycle of software solution implementations (Requirements Gathering, Solution Design, Configuration / Development, Testing, Deployment, and Support)
  • Good understanding of Semi Standards, EI Concepts, E10 States, ISA 95 / ISA 88 Guidelines
  • Experience designing and supporting interfaces between systems (Like MES and ERP, LMS, PLM
  • Experience with HTML5 and advanced GUI Design / Presentation Platforms
  • Experience with designing, configuring, and implementing scalable GUI’s for mobile device use.
  • Willingness to work overtime to support manufacturing and critical projects as needed.
  • A self-starting, self-driven individual, working to remain motivated and efficient with little oversight.
