Be an integral part of the development of a new generation of factory systems within our Richardson Semiconductor Fabrication Plant, at the heart of the Internet of Things (IOT) Revolution.
Be involved in cross-functional teams working to reduce scrap, prevent yield excursions, improve manufacturing efficiency, and facilitate the transformation of the factory technologically.
Support manufacturing and engineering in converting business requirements into real solutions within our new manufacturing execution system (MES), and other factory systems.
Participate in the development, deployment, and use of new factory systems in the creation of a new connected or “Smart Factory”.
Understand and manage application configuration for all MES deployed environments (Dev, Integration, QA, Production), including appropriate processes, proper documentation and release versioning.
Work with local and outsourced infrastructure, database, and server support teams to plan and execute MES and related application upgrades.
Develop your own and review vendor estimates for design and development efforts including validating task estimates.
Implement technical designs for the desired MES development framework supporting delivery of a quality code base within project timelines. 10% travel required.
Lead / Participate in business, functional, and user interface design processes for the MES solution.
Lead / participate in code reviews, design enhancement sessions, and other activities to continuously improve the quality of the MES framework.
Provide ongoing operational support for deployed environments.
