Honeywell Aerospace has an exciting opening for a marketing leader at BendixKing, our avionics brand for experimental and general aviation aircraft. BendixKing is one of the most famous brands in aviation, with products in thousands of aircraft worldwide. The successful candidate will understand traditional and digital marketing, and know how to plan, buy, and evaluate the performance of traditional and digital advertising and other promotional activities. He or she will understand how to develop and manage a marketing lead funnel, and how to implement both brand awareness and demand generation-oriented marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate will also understand and know how to execute search engine optimization, search engine marketing, direct email and other digital marketing programs.

Finally, you will need to understand both business-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing.

In this position, you will launch new products, develop web pages and digital content, manage advertising, help coordinate media interviews and visits, and produce strategies and collateral for trade shows – all with an emphasis on innovative, digital marketing and actionable analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding aviation market dynamics, segmenting, buying decisions and customer personas -- and developing and executing marketing plans covering mass, micro and behavioral marketing audiences that increase sales and brand reputation.
  • Managing vendors and partnering with our internal creative services to produce content focused on pre-purchase (new), existing and post-sales customers directly and through distributors.
  • Extensive partnership with top executives, marketing colleagues, government affairs, investor relations, our sales training organization, public relations and internal communications.
  • Maintaining – and serving as a role model for – a close and productive working relationship between BendixKing, Honeywell Aerospace and Honeywell’s corporate marketing group.
  • Analyzing marketing metrics, producing competitive intelligence and adjusting campaigns accordingly to produce the highest sales.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Some experience in corporate marketing, Marketing communications.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or communications preferred
  • Knowledge or experience in the aviation industry, or proven ability to gain that knowledge quickly. Pilots highly desired.
  • Experience introducing new products.
  • In-depth knowledge and provable practical experience in digital marketing, preferably in behavioral targeting and micro-targeting.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced or start-up corporate culture, with evolving requirements, expectations and organizational needs.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills to drive engagement with senior leaders, peers and customers around the world.
  • Strong analytical and persuasive skills; excellent presentation and writing prowess.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a track record of turning plans and ideas into actionable programs.
  • Proficiency in integrated marketing strategy, communications disciplines, digital and competitive analysis, budgeting and the ability to drive alignment among many stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in working with top executives in a highly matrixed company.
  • Understanding the fundamental “customer decision journeys” in an online environment, and proven experience applying them to produce sales.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, results-driven – and a “win and have fun” attitude to work and managing people and projects.
  • Strong program management and planning skills, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple programs/projects simultaneously.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
