This is a great position to showcase your strategic leadership abilities in a highly visible role with a carved out separate budget and deliverables to the business within the Space GBE leading the small satellites components from concept, through development and into production with dedicated resources at your fingertips.

This is a rare opportunity for a strong business leader to showcase their expertise and leadership skills to senior leadership; with a quick turn from concept to production for the satellite market. We need a passionate leader who is good at rallying a team, focused on the same target, to achieve superior results. A successful candidate will be able to run this Greenhouse similar to General Manager.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in an analytical field (engineering, economics, math, or business discipline or related field)
  • Minimum of 8 years directly related satellite experience, business and program/project management or P&L management
  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience managing and promoting high technology products from inception through sunset
  • Experience across the whole product life cycle, including marketing, product management, R&D, operations & sales in a technical environment.
  • Solid track record of understanding market position, competition and trends to enter into new markets successfully to achieve superior financial results sustainably compared to peers in the industry
  • Demonstrated experience in building the capabilities needed to create different products for current or adjacent markets or create new markets
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute to global business strategy which clearly makes choices to help achieve breakthrough objectives
  • Ability to quickly grasp the fundamentals of complex technologies, systems, and software
  • Demonstrated examples of exercising superior judgment, balanced decision making and taking intelligent risk in making right calls producing outstanding outcomes
  • Strong intellectual, analytical and strategic skills with great business acumen and judgment
  • High energy, results-oriented and resourceful leader with a winner's attitude
  • Strong desire to be held accountable for results
  • Unquestionable personal and business integrity with credibility both within the company and externally
