RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Regional Sales Leader and the Director of Strategic Marketing to develop and implement Sales Strategies, develop local and regional tactics that best position products, solutions, services, or ideas in terms of how they add value to customer operations, addresses unique market needs and customer requirements through multiple channels.
  • Create a local sales plan and maintain sales funnel, qualifies leads, ensures balance of sales efforts between short-term and longer-term prospects, and takes corrective action as appropriate.
  • Accurate forecasting of quarterly revenue
  • Identify, generate and close New Business Opportunities
  • Network across the organization to build a support network to ensure sustainable long term growth

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering)
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales; min 2 years selling connected solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, self-confident manner, strong customer orientation
  • Familiarity with customers in Post & Parcel, 3 PL, Distribution, Discrete Manufacturing and Ecommerce business would be a big asset
  • Ability to engage customers and effectively articulate all the 3 key components of the value proposition – the edge device itself, “as-a-service” business model and the value of data / analytics
  • Adept at value selling and consultation as opposed to pure sales tactics
  • Fluent English, additional language is a plus
  • Willingness to travel
