This leadership position is part of the Corporate Procurement Purchased Services Category Strategy Team (CST).This is a key global procurement leadership role responsible to build, execute and continuously improve the category strategies for the MarCom Corporate Functions, as well as for the SBG Customer Marketing Teams.This role also will lead Procurement activities for other Corporate functions as needed.Regular interaction with all levels of the organization including the most senior levels of leadership within Marketing and Communications is needed. This role supports the development and implementation of robust category strategies alignedtoboth functional goals as well as Procurement goals of aggressivelymanagingspend, working capital and service requirements.Building and understanding the total cost of ownership for the categories is needed.
This position will interface with Corporate and business functions to define category goals, build category strategy roadmaps and identify and deliver on specific requirements to implement functional strategy successfully. This person will need to investnecessarytime to develop relationships with functional leadership to fully understand and support goals and objectives leveraging Procurement tools and processes. They will need to meet the expectations and requirements of internal customers and stakeholders; establish and maintain effective relationships with internal customers/stakeholders and suppliers to gain their trust and respect.Establishing win-win Honeywell/Supplier relationships is also key in this role.
Provide global Procurement leadership, expertise and best valuesolutioningin the MarCom and other Corporate function categories
Implement and execute Procurement best practice contracting strategies utilizing Honeywell tools, processes and procedures
Achieve savings, cost avoidance and working capital goals as outlined by Corporate Procurement Team
10 Develop & execute Annual & Strategic Plan with supporting strategies
20 Right & Fast development & deployment of strategies & resources to align with business Growth & NPI
20 Lead Category & Commodity teams & Strategies to align business needs
25 Relationship development/management with key internal stakeholders & strategic Supplier Leadership
25 Manage & improve sourcing processes & performance through an effective management operating system
