The Assistant Controller-PMT will use accounting expertise in areas such as revenue recognition, investment accounting, restructuring, business combinations, contingent liabilities and other complex areas of US GAAP requiring significant deliberation and leadership to support the growth and financial objectives of PMT business. This role will provide policy and operational support to PMT leadership teams across all functions and interact with various key stakeholders across HON Corporate structures and external advisors. This role will also provide financial controls, accounting and reporting oversight of the PMT HQ financial statements. This position reports directly into the PMT Global Controller.
• Collaborate with the business in identifying restructuring opportunities, facilitate execution on potential projects and monitoring of projects once approved
• Champion and lead projects related to process standardization, automation and internal control improvements
• Support special projects/strategic initiatives as required

YOU MUST HAVE
•Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
•8+ years of experience in accounting, audit and multinational corporate controllership
•Big 4 Public Accounting experience
•Excellent communication and leadership skills
•Able to work both independently and collaboratively with the business as a team member
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvement
•SAP and HFM knowledge
•Project accounting experience
•M&A and integration experience a plus
