The Presales is a customer-facing individual who provides technical expertise to support qualified sales opportunities.
Based inNorth Italyand reporting to the Regional Sales Manager Central Europe (based in Germany),working with moderate supervision, this person analyzes and offers advice on the best software application approaches to address customer needs. The person has a good working knowledge of the challenges Tridium’s customers and prospects are facing. This person is expected to perform all the activities required to support a sales engagement from the initial meeting or demonstration through to technical closure and act as a technical lead in tactical opportunities.
§ Assists Sales managers in qualifying customer's requests against Tridium software platform ability to provide a solution and probability of success.
§ Prepares and presents value propositions on how Tridium’s solutions address technical customer requirements.
§ Fosters a positive working relationship with technical stakeholders in the account.
§ Takes ownership of part of the engagement as a hands-on technical contributor.
§ Actively searches for market opportunities for Tridium solutions in the Industrial sector
§ Act as the technical lead on a sub-set of a major validation event (per e.g. custom demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, pilots)
§ Support Partners as they build IIoT applications using the Niagara platform;
§ Guide our Partners in the design and architecture of their Niagara applications, based on customer requirements
§ At least, 3 years of experience in Industrial Automation presales or equivalent experience
§ Comprehensive engineering & manufacturing process knowledge
§ System Integration and Interface Experiences
§ DBMS Skills
§ Proactive and positive personality
§ Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
§ Ability to logically prioritize tasks and schedule work accordingly
§ Strong motivation to learn new technologies
§ Experiences with enterprise solutions like CMMS, ERP, MES, SCADA, PLC programming languages like IEC-61131 and others are welcomed
§ Location in North Italy and Business Italian, German and English are necessary
