Honeywell has an opening for a Global Planner, who will collaborate with Honeywell’s Contract Manufacturer (CM) to develop/monitor supply plans and provide analysis for the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization, specifically ensuring efficient planning and flow of materials throughout the entire supply chain from the supply base to support original equipment product shipments and aftermarket spares for both new and rotatable parts stocking in global distribution centers. This role will work with business and demand organizations to determine requirements and ensure CM supply plans achieve ISC objectives, optimize inventory investment, and facilitate efficient utilization of ISC resources. This job may span across multiple sites / time zones and the candidate should have the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Job Description:

  • Manage firm and forecast demands, drive Contract Manufacture (CM) supply plans, execute internal shipment releases to support OEM, IDO and Aftermarket demands.
  • Support revenue and inventory planning activities, participate in tiered accountability process, and interface with SBU contacts to ensure closed loop feedback.
  • Project sales opportunity and inventory relief in support of Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Annual Operating Plan (AOP) commitments.
  • Work closely with CM to ensure CM detail part plans support CM’s Master Production Schedule (MPS).
  • Interface with CM’s Cell Managers, Master Schedulers and Production Schedulers via daily Interlock meetings.
  • Identify shortfalls to supply plans and propose strategies to overcome shortfalls.
  • Escalate demand and supply alignment issues via CMOC SIOP monthly reviews.
  • Utilize tools to analyze global inventory for a specific product group and align for optimal service level performance with minimal inventory in global network.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or a related discipline or a minimum of 5 years ISC experience in lieu of diploma/degree.
WE VALUE
  • APICS certification desired.
  • SAP or other ERP system experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook) and other computer systems.
  • Proficiency in writing, reading and excellent communication skills.
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification desired.
