Supplier Recovery Manager

The Lead Supplier Recovery Manager leads a team of senior and lead supplier recovery specialists to drive performance improvement at suppliers by identifying complex systemic problems throughout the supply chain as it relates to specific problematic suppliers, and implement solutions Aero-wide. Supplier Recovery Team’s responsibilities would include validation of POs to support demand are accurate, measure / improve supplier Line of Balances (LOB) and past dues (PD), verify raw material and work in process positions, review yield / quality performance, resolve capacity issues, identify tooling gaps and needs, ensure supplier has stable / accurate demand signals and improve supplier look ahead metrics.

Responsibility to oversee and execute on multiple concurrent projects focused on localization, cost downs, and supplier transitions

You will quickly build credibility in order to influence a cross functional team as a key member of the project

You will lead a high performing team that is responsible for leading projects and initiatives for the business

20 Oversees and coordinates the operational and strategy creation aspects of sourcing projects

20 Partners with Category and Commodity leaders to create strategy and drive projects to completion

20 Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports

20 Drive the development of integrated project plans, aligning project tactics with project strategy

20 Manage and direct teams to monitor project plans, manage issues and risks, and prioritize activities

* YOU MUST HAVE *

  • Bachelor's Degree, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering
  • Black Belt Certification and or Lean Expert Certification
  • 15+ years’ experience in leadership / management, supply chain, manufacturing operations, change management, materials management, sourcing, procurement Sales Inventory & Operations (SIOP). Applicable and detailed work experience in 4 out of the 5 areas; Manufacturing/Assembly, Operations, Quality, Engineering (Design or Manufacturing) Planning (Forecasting, Demand Management, Capacity) Program Management Materials / Procurement.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements

* WE VALUE *

  • An MBA in a business discipline is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Honeywell Aerospace products or related products and customers preferred but not required
  • Professional Certification (i.e. ASQ-CQE/CQA, CPIM, CSCP, PMP) preferred but not required
  • APICS – CPIM / CSCP certifications are ideal
  • ISM – CPSM certification is a plus
  • A comprehensive knowledge of Quality Assurance Engineering and practices applicable to the manufacture of aerospace products including regulatory, military, commercial, and industry/customer standards (e.g., ISO9000, and AS9001) is preferred but not required
  • Very strong Program or project management experience preferred
  • Supplier development project management experience a plus
  • Displays strong analytical skills including data query writing and development
  • Excellent Financial Acumen
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Strong Team building skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business results
  • Exhibits successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams deploying complex processes
  • Established ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
  • Experience working in multicultural environments and with others of diverse backgrounds preferred
