The Lead Supplier Recovery Manager leads a team of senior and lead supplier recovery specialists to drive performance improvement at suppliers by identifying complex systemic problems throughout the supply chain as it relates to specific problematic suppliers, and implement solutions Aero-wide. Supplier Recovery Team’s responsibilities would include validation of POs to support demand are accurate, measure / improve supplier Line of Balances (LOB) and past dues (PD), verify raw material and work in process positions, review yield / quality performance, resolve capacity issues, identify tooling gaps and needs, ensure supplier has stable / accurate demand signals and improve supplier look ahead metrics.
Responsibility to oversee and execute on multiple concurrent projects focused on localization, cost downs, and supplier transitions
You will quickly build credibility in order to influence a cross functional team as a key member of the project
You will lead a high performing team that is responsible for leading projects and initiatives for the business
20 Oversees and coordinates the operational and strategy creation aspects of sourcing projects
20 Partners with Category and Commodity leaders to create strategy and drive projects to completion
20 Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
20 Drive the development of integrated project plans, aligning project tactics with project strategy
20 Manage and direct teams to monitor project plans, manage issues and risks, and prioritize activities
