You will process large volume Key Account orders by taking telephone orders, completing order forms, providing price quotes, performing order entry, following up on orders until they are fulfilled and producing Open Order Reports by customer. You will respond to product inquiries and research/correct discrepancies. You will provide customer service to Key Accounts, sales force, operations and vendors by researching/resolving customer questions/complaints (i.e., timeliness of orders, handling back and special orders, solving service failures) and providing product and cost information to branch sales staff. You will partner with business development managers to strengthen customer relationships by responding to special pricing requests, maintaining information regarding customer specific criteria for order entry, shipping, etc., conducting follow-up telephone calls/e-mails on behalf of the business development team and providing business development managers with customer database information to ensure that they have the necessary tools for sales calls. You will act as a liaison between customers and product manufacturers by responding to product inquiries, obtaining/disseminating technical information and resolving issues as they arise. You will generate leads by cold-calling potential customers and educating them on new product lines and warm-calling current customers and branch offices to target potential customers.
