Honeywell is seeking a Senior level AutoMod simulation professional who has a deep simulation project experience within the material handling industry and understands medium to high levels of automation, controls systems, and upper level WES software. Their work should instill confidence in the methodology with repeatable results for “proof of concept”. Studies material handling solutions and designs simulation code accordingly.
Builds complex simulation models consisting of various integrated technologies such as ASRS, shuttles, high speed sortation, carousels, AGVs, conveyors, robots, palletizers, etc.
Identifies the necessary input variables and parameters for sensitivity testing.
Develops AutoMod models that adhere to simulation standards and best practices.
Completes simulation models on time and according to scope.
Capable of building simulations that accurately model upper level software functionality, multiple inventory strategies, and dynamic decision algorithms.
Proficient in the use of Excel, Access, or similar data tools to prepare input data and analyze output statistics.
Experience connecting AutoMod models to databases is a plus.
Supports consultants and sales managers in pre-sales activities and presentations.
Self-motivated and independent.
Able to analyze models, determine design enhancements, and develop reports of relevant information.
Use of other simulation tools such as Sim3D/Demo3D, or Simul8 a plus.
May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

5 years of experience analyzing data and building analytical and simulation models related to distribution/fulfillment operations and distribution/supply chain networks and producing detailed and directional guidance based upon the analytical findings.
