Honeywell Intelligrated is a leading single-source provider of intelligent automated material handling solutions that drive fulfillment productivity for retailers, manufacturers and logistics providers around the world.We are seeking an Account Manager for our growing team to be the front-line representative of Honeywell Intelligrated to drives sales to existing accounts for our portfolio of products and services for our parcel handling/delivery customers.We offer a complete line of technical assessments, maintenance and repairs services, replacement parts, modifications and upgrades, technical support and training to our customers in order to keep their system running at peak performance and with the lowest total cost of ownership.This position will foster relationships with a group of customer sites within the territory in order to understand customer needs, develop solutions, negotiate and close sales, and manage the customer experience with Honeywell Intelligrated. This position would ideally sit in Mason, OH or Louisville, KY; however anywhere in the eastern part of the US is fine.

Maintain regular customer contact and provide education of Honeywell Intelligrated products through technical presentations, webinars, and seminars

Identify opportunities and work solutions through the sales cycle; report on competitive intelligence and market trends, and provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP)

Attend trade shows, seminars and similar industry events; maintain account and opportunity information, and provide reports and status using our customer relationship management system

* YOU MUST HAVE *

  • Bachelor’s Degree or four or more years’ experience in a Technical Sales role
  • 3 or more years’ experience in Parcel/Delivery Market

  • Some experience in the field
  • A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
  • Excellent team and communication skills
  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
  • An ability to influence across a broader organization
  • An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
  • Significant experience in selling (industrial) products in a B2B environment
  • Deep technical expertise
  • Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the competitive landscape
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
