The Asia Pacific Contracts Management organization supports Honeywell Building
Solutions’ business management, sales, operations and other functions in the Asia
Pacific region. Our function is responsible for leading the negotiation, drafting and administration of project/service contracts with external customers, and the related provision of consultation and strategic direction to internal stakeholders thereon. We also develop and/or implement Honeywell contract programs, policies and processes, and regularly provide organizational training on such matters. Our team works closely with the marketing and sales,
operations, finance and supply functions, as well as business management, to structure contracts consistent with Honeywell business objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing contracts throughout South East Asia (including, but not limited to, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia) and will lead in structuring, drafting and negotiating both
standard and non-standard project/service contracts with external while, at the same time, providing relating consultation and direction to Honeywell business and functional personnel thereon. He/she also assist in the development and/or implementation of Honeywell policies processes, as well as provide organizational training on such matters.
Be providing professional, consultative and collaborative interaction, internally and externally, on prospective contracts and business making good judgments during negotiations, focusing on high-quality drafting, and acting with speed,
knowledge and creativity, the successful candidate will not only help business organizations successfully conclude business pursuits but, at the time, do so in a manner consistent with Honeywell’s legal, compliance, and business
expectations so as to prevent Honeywell from being exposed to business and/or legal risks
The successful candidate will work closely with business team members and other functional personnel, including regional and global legal team members, within Honeywell, as well as with customers and their advisers.
The objectives of increasing customer orders, improving the company's profitability and reducing/avoiding both legal and business risks will require the successful candidate to:
To maintain/increase customer respect and trust by providing creative, customer-focused and cost effective contract solutions that meet both Honeywell’s and the customers' legitimate business requirements.
To improve sales cycle time by efficiencies and continual improvements in the contract negotiation, draftingand finalization processes and focusing on reduced turnaround times for contracts completion
To employ and maintain superior skills and responsiveness with both internal and external stakeholders
To demonstrate a continual focus detail-orientation in contracts reviews and drafting
To contribute to the company's continued profitability by providing strong risk management and recommendations to business leadership.

EDUCATION

Degree in Law or related discipline
EXPERIENCE
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

Sound knowledge and experience in review/analysis of contract conditions, contract administration practices and contracts law + Knowledge in risk assessment and risk management + Relevant experience in construction and/or related industry + Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills + Demonstrated compliance mindset + Strong communications skills
