Sales Support Specialist

Conduct sales applications and sales development activities in Canada to achieve revenue targets for FIRE-LITE and NOTIFIER including its OEM product lines. Drive end-user adoption, application and retention of assigned products.

Activities include:

•Assists customers with applying our products to achieve their site-specific and unique system design needs.

•Positions our products successfully against competition in the minds of end users and their key influencers.

•Clearly explains feature/benefit value proposition so it aligns with customer needs and meets complex job requirements.

•Grows long-term influential and collaborative relationships with our distributors and strategic end users to drive product preference and growth.

•Actively participates in customer events, promotional activities, and customer messaging communications.

Responsibilities:

•Conduct persuasive product presentations at end user locations and Customer Experience Centers (CECs) in support of sales, to gain product specification position, product preference and adoption of our solutions.

•Perform site surveys and make recommendations for systems applications including systems builds and quote documents.

•Possesses or “attaining” superior product line expertise for their designated product and market segment.

•Work with Marketing and Communications to select products to be displayed at trade and customer shows.

•Work with Engineering on field issue resolution & documentation for key customers or complex applications.

•Represent product line at trade shows, conferences and other customer events.

•Support the business strategy to achieve expected business sales results.

•Assist with key Global Accounts Clients by providing application and RFP expertise required to close memorandums of understanding (MOUs).

•Attend key pre-bid and design calls, providing value design & application input required to close sales.

•Provide sales & application support to the sales teams for designated growth drivers.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • BS/BA degree preferred or 10 years of related industry sales experience.
  • 5+ years of related industry sales, marketing and / or product experience.
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Ability to work independently and possesses good written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Ability to captivate the client’s attention and action revenue growth while building strong relationships.
