The National Security Campus (NSC) is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facility managed and operated by Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technology (FM&T). This position is seeking a highly-qualified candidate with significant experience within materials analysis, synthesis, or other processing to lead an engineering team. This position will partner with the Global Security (GS) Program Manager (PM) to exploit a significant growth opportunity in a Material-specific domain with an established customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation of white papers while leading technology advancement and the execution of project deliverables. In addition, the candidate will have a strong customer¬ service focus, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers with varying levels of material knowledge while possessing ability to generate accurate and precise analytical data, analyze data, prepare formal reports and make formal presentations of results, conclusions, and recommendations.

YOU MUST HAVE:
•US citizenship to obtain and maintain US Dept of Energy "Q" level security clearance
• Masters Degree in Materials Science or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
•Eight (8) or more years of applied experience in a materials engineering role required
•Ph.D in Materials Science or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program preferred
•Leadership and ability to actively contribute to teams or work independently.
•Results oriented with a demonstrated record of problem solving; effective at using data to make informed decisions.
•Experience in the preparation and communication of analytical information to all levels of stakeholders.
•Able to work independently with little to no supervision on all job responsibilities.
•Ability to manage multiple assignments and responsibilities concurrently.
•Knowledge and experience in the use analytical laboratory equipment and their application in conducting material analysis.
•Experience using MS Office Suite desktop applications, such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
