Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Home and Building Technologies (HBT). HBS installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient, and is a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions worldwide. HBS specializes in service of critical building systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, fire, security and energy management.

HBS is currently seeking a Sr Financial Analyst to support US Core districts. This key finance role has responsibility for significant projects and service offerings in the HBS business. Duties will include forecasting, tracking, and reporting on and providing analysis related to revenue, margin, gross profit, and CTP (Contribution to Profit).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Key team member in driving and analyzing operating results, forecasting, and planning for the region.
  • Work closely with leadership team and HBS FP&A team
  • Work closely with DOPLs, SOPLs, FSLs, PMLs, DGMs, BMs in development of the forecast, reports and plans.
  • Support annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic planning (STRAP) initiatives
  • Lead Finance in the Risk Reviews and JSSM meetings.
  • Ensure GAAP compliance and overall financial accuracy
  • Drive improvements in Accounts Receivable in the region.
  • Drive understanding of all the cost elements in the P&L.
  • Work significant projects as they arise.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in an Finance or Accounting role.
  • 3+ years of experience generating financial models.
WE VALUE
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with database applications, preferably SAP
  • Experience in construction/services business strongly desired
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
  • Ability to develop a strong partnership/team building relationship with General Managers and their teams, finance management, and customers
  • Ability to drive process improvement and own complex analysis
  • Strong computer skills
  • Time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Financial modeling ability
