This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Homes and Global Distribution team at Honeywell! Homes and Global Distribution is a leader in the home heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) controls and security markets, and a leading global distributor of security and fire protection products. In 2018, Honeywell will be spinning off the Homes and Global Distribution business into a stand-alone, publicly traded company. Being a stand-alone company will provide the business the independence, focus, direct financial resources, and flexibility required to adapt quickly to market and customer dynamics, and we want you to be part of its evolution.

As the Sales Manager for Consumer Electronics, you will develop and secure national and/or retail accounts. The Sales Manager for Consumer Electronics will work to maintain and enhance relationships with dealers, chain stores, and major department stores.The Sales Manager for Consumer Electronicswill devise strategies and execute as necessary in achieving all sales targets.The Sales Manager for Consumer Electronics role will require extensive travel throughout the US. This role can be located anywhere in the US near a major airport.

Increase overall performance of the organization by creating strong customer relationships and new customer partnerships within your organization

Develop and maximize Honeywell presence and market share in designated accounts and territory

Drive continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Sales Organization

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • In charge of developing and closing national and/or retail accounts both online and offline.
  • Maintain and develop good relationships with dealers, chain stores, major department stores.
  • Map potential customers and generate leads for the organization.
  • Implement joint promotions with partners and build good brand.
  • Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree
WE VALUE
  • 3 years of experience in Consumer Electronic Sales
  • A capacity to make decisions in the face of ambiguity
  • Strong track record in retail consumer product sales
  • An in depth knowledge of business
  • An ability to lead through complexity and change
  • An ability to pivot or adjust the organizational direction based on new conditions
  • An ability to think strategically
  • An ability to negotiate with customers, management, and senior leaders
