Performs scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems as well as checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory and efficient working order. Equipment may include PC servers, Workstations, storage ARRAY’s and routers. Completes maintenance within assigned (Labor Load PM) hours in such manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero calls backs.
Responds to emergency service calls as directed. Analyzes, trouble-shoots, repairs, and restores equipment/systems to full operation and recommends revisions when necessary for effectiveness. Notifies the Supervisor of equipment/systems requiring further analysis or potential replacement.
Performs routine operational and safety tests on remote systems and devices, and makes minor adjustments as needed to improve the equipment or system's efficiency.
Assist with the start-up of new DDC system installation and makes adjustments as needed to make the system operational.
Plan schedules, to ensure system upgrades are completed on time as required with in the service contract.
As directed, provides technical recommendations in support of sales representatives, conducting surveys, estimates, or inspections.
Provides sales leads to the sales groups where such opportunities are identified during the course of service work.
Presents a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance.
Promotes, builds, and maintains good customer relations and assists with contract retention
Keeps supervisor informed of customer needs, requirements, system status and actual or potential customer problems
Maintains company propriety documentation in accordance with established policies; handles proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adheres to and supports HBS policies and procedures including Honeywell’s code of conduct.
Uses current material/inventory in a responsible manner, and recommends inventory requirements
Keeps abreast of changes and new developments in products and technology
