SALES DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (FULL-TIME)

As a member of the Safety & Productivity Solutions (SPS) Sales Development Program, you will complete three (3) rotations lasting twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months each. Rotations will vary and are real jobs focused in Sales Support, Marketing, and Sales. While in the program you will be able to experience multiple roles across these disciplines which will help increase your knowledge and business expertise exponentially. Our roles may be in other parts of the U.S. so relocation will be required as part of this program.
You will have the opportunity to work in multiple areas of our commercial organization.After completion of three (3) rotations the employee will then focus on an outside sales role where you will own and manage a customer territory. Rotations may include:
-Sales Support: Work with the sales support function to help process sales incentive plans (SIP). Collect, compile, analyze, and present sales data to varying levels of leadership. Support, train, and deploy the salesforce on key tools and resources to assist with their job.
-Technical Sales Support : Learn technical expertise and assists in sales presentations and/or product demonstrations of company products. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs.
-Product Marketing:Participate on marketing programs that target our customer base, assist with sales promotions and introductions to maximize sales revenue. Conduct competitive product analysis and market research; monitor competitive activity.
-Channel Marketing:Write and present value propositions and analyze go-to-market strategies; participate on new product introduction (NPI) launches. Provide pricing information and communicate schedule changes and product enhancements to distributors, OEMs, and resellers
-Inside Sales: Own and manage an inside sales customer account. Attend trade shows as needed to gain an understanding of our customers, competitors and current marketplace.
-Outside Sales:Own a territory and drive sales accordingly. Engage in hunting activities while maintaining territory accounts and revenue base. Learn the product selling cycle and ordering process; participate in sales training and development programs to develop selling skills and proficiency.

· Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree (preferably in Professional Sales, Business, Engineering or Computer Science)
· Ability to relocate required
· Demonstrated leadership ability – able to work effectively with and influence others toward project goals
· Strong business acumen
· Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
· Strong interpersonal skills – able to successfully cooperate and influence with those in other functions in a matrix organization
· Strong project management and presentation skills
· Capable of some travel required
