This is an exciting opportunity for a Records & Information Management Administrator role for UOP’s division based in Des Plaines IL. This role will assist in the development, implementation and administration all facets of a records retention / vital records program to assure adherence of corporate, legal and regulatory agency requirements, specifically in an electronic environment. The role will also develop education and training on RIM and Information Governance (IG) principles and best practices.

Provides technical leadership in areas of responsibility and look for ways to apply latest technologies for Information Governance (IG) improvements and organizational effectiveness.

Assist in the development and administration of compliance mechanisms such as periodic audits and training to ensure on-going compliance with Honeywell’s Records & Information Management (RIM) Program

Provide leadership in transitioning to electronic records management systems.

Interact with PMT/UOP departments and outside service providers to develop services for on-site and off-site storage / transfers, retrieval and destruction approvals

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or the field of Information Systems, Computer Science,
  • 3+ years of corporate business experience
WE VALUE
  • Highly Desirable Certification: Certified Records Manager (CRM), Certified Records Analyst (CRA) and/or Information Governance Professional (IGP)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership, organizational & planning skills
  • Innovative, self-motivated and able to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with technical staff
  • Demonstrate strong verbal, written, analytical and problem solving skills at all levels of the organization
