You will validate pre-installed BAS systems, install pre-developed software & graphics, and document functional systems operation to meet project and customer requirements. You will be Honeywell liaison to provide customers & contractor technical support and coordination information during project implementation.
Technical and Job Related Responsibilities
Read and understand mechanical & electrical project design drawings.
Research, read, understand, interpret and apply troubleshooting principals from technical device and mechanical equipment technical documentation.
Verify subcontractor installation meets Honeywell, project and local jurisdiction requirements.
Work with Union tradesmen to efficiently establish system communications, and verify BAS systems operation.Load and test pre-engineered software and graphics.
Validate, troubleshoot and diagnose software and graphic functionality to meet project design intent.
Verify system field device functional performance to ensure proper operations according to contract requirements including: testing, calibrating verify system and peripheral device.
Availability for and perform duties outside of normal working hours as required.
Promote, build and maintain good customer relations.
Keep Supervisor informed of customer requirements, systems status, and actual, potential or perceived project issues.
Demonstrate operational systems and provide training to customers as required.
Be aware of project scope of work, facility and customer requirements.
Health and Safety
Carry out site hazard and risk assessments for Honeywell tasks, including proper use of safety. personal protective equipment.
Maintain safety documentation per project and/or customer requirements.
Be responsible for Honeywell’s assets such as tools, software, vehicle.
Keep documentation and paperwork up-to-date.
Keep up-to-date on Honeywell products, new developments, and work to improve efficient and safe validation techniques.
Security and other clearances as required by client.
