We have a fantastic opportunity in Brisbane for a Building Automation / Analytics Engineer.
The Building Automation Industry is changing. The Industrial Internet of Things, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence is changing the way we deliver services to our customers and we are adding more Engineering capability to the local Connected Services Engineering team.In this role, you will have the opportunity to take charge of the delivery of high quality Building Automation services to Honeywell Building Solutions’ clients.You will ensure effective management of work load, verification of works, client liaison and escalation, financial forecasting and control of jobs including administering of variations and associated invoicing/project progress claims, and working with other areas within Honeywell to deliver high quality service. A key focus of this role will be to drive the implementation of analytics-driven maintenance into Honeywell’s service base and you will have the chance to directly influence the ongoing development of Honeywell’s Connected Services / Analytics products.
Working within the Service Engineering team, you will provide engineering support to Honeywell field technicians and directly to a broad range of clients including Commercial Buildings, Correctional Facilities, Health, Leisure/Entertainment, Airports and Cultural Facilities.You will have strong engineering skills, hands on experience with Building Automation/Control, HVAC System Design and Modification, Energy Efficiency, Data Analytics and can problem solve and drive continuous improvement across our clients.The successful candidate will be autonomous and can manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.
We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Electronic / Mechatronics or similar.They will have experience in the Building Automation / HVAC arena and ideally would have significant hands on experience with one or more Building Automation platforms such as Honeywell EBI / ComfortPoint / CARE, Tridium, Leading Edge, Schneider, Siemens, Trend.
Obtaining relevant security clearances will be a requirement of this role.

Experience with data analytics / analytics-driven maintenance, implementing Energy Efficiency measures would be highly valued.Chartered Professional Engineer / Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland would also be highly regarded.Other relevant qualifications would also be valued such as Certified Measurement Verification Professional, NABERS Assessor, Certified Energy Efficiency Specialist.
