Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will estimate manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will add value and expertise to the business by sustaining support by identifying cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities.

Solve problems where analysis of a situation is required in order to meet the requirements of the customer

Uses problem analysis to help in developing new process and procedures

Provide analysis of data in support of product and process improvements

Manages the process necessary for identifying, analyzing and eliminating the process deviations;

Coordinate improvement projects for each process, in accordance with the production area objectives

Take part in closing CAR related to lack of conformity in product/ machines/ tools performance, which generate deviations in the production area

Draft the yearly investment budget (CAPEX) for the production area, follow up on the implementation of the approved projects and present the status and results

Centralize the necessary auxiliary equipment for the production area (Kanban, closets, carts, etc.)

Order the necessary auxiliary equipment and follow up on the order status up until installation

Take part with the Technical Engineer and the HSE department at the final set up of the equipment and production lines, as per HOS principles

Propose improvement actions for the current layout of the production equipment in the production area

Actively take part in the continuous improvement of processes: identify waste reduction opportunities and come up with improvement solution both for personal and production activity

Offer support for operator training when the case

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering

  • Greenbelt/DFSS certified
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
  • Proficient project management skills
  • Good knowledge of mechanical industry
  • Cause identification/FMEA experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP/HOS
