RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of the activities related to Accounts Payable according with the company policies and SOX requirements;
  • Review and follow up the main key performance indicators
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various Departments and\or suppliers
  • Identify and implement process improvements idea
  • Support corporate P2P initiatives, being part of different projects related to AP
  • Establish performance objectives, evaluate the performance and conduct recurrent discussions including the yearly performance review
  • Identify, implement and execute training plan for direct reports in close coordination with HR
  • Lead and manage the recruitment, development, reward, recognition and performance of the AP team
  • Develop, prepare and/or assemble reports, charts, and graphs, as required
  • Ensure back-up for AP Manager if required
  • High degree of discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy and ethics

YOU MUST HAVE
  • University Degree
  • Experience in accounting/finance;
  • Work experience with SAP Accounts Payable module
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and WordGood English capability both in written and spoken
  • Strong communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to set priorities and plan workload to meet deadlines and achieve the objectives of the team;
  • Project management and analytical skills;

WE VALUE

  • University Degree in Economic Studies is a plus;
  • Extensive experience in accounting/finance;
  • Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and business processes;
  • Command of other languages is a plus.
  • Committed and highly motivated to achieving goals;
  • Results oriented, comfortable working in a high pressure environment and to tight deadlines;
  • Willingness to take additional responsibilities
  • Apply learning and experience to identify and initiate ‘best practice’ strategies and process improvements for the team;
  • High degree of discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy and ethics
