The ACST organization within Honeywell has an immediate opening for a Principal Electrical Hardware Engineer in Broomfield Colorado. This candidate would join a team of electrical engineers responsible for developing a complex Electronic Control System capable of controlling digital, analog and RF signals.
·The candidate will be involved in the research/development of a control system capable of controlling hundreds of signals of various types
·Specific responsibilities will include Digital, RF and Analog design for prototypes circuits and new product development
·Duties will include schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping bring-up and debugging, hardware bug tracking, test plan creation, test plan execution, functional verification, signal characterization
·The position will work closely with other engineers and scientists in co-locatedcross functionalR&D team
·Be challenged by working in a fast pace environment on state of the art product research and development
·Utilize Six-Sigma tools as appropriate to maximize product quality and design efficiency

35 Collaborate with engineering functional teams
You Must Have:
·Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
·Due to US export control laws, must be a US citizen
·Familiar with electrical simulation and model-based design tools such as Applied Wave Research (AWR) Microwave office
·Strong digital and analog troubleshooting skills and familiarity with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzer etc
·Detailed circuit design and simulation experience including amplifiers, mixers, filtersandsynthesizers
·Experience with PID Controllers (three term controller) control loop feedback mechanisms
·Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) preferred
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
·Strong leadership, interpersonal relationshipandteam skills
·Experience with PDM systems
·Digital and analog design experience
·Schematic capture and PCB Layout (Altium preferred)
·Component selection and prototyping experience
