Are you an aviation geek dreaming about tweaking cockpit hardware and software? Here is a unique challenge for you! The Honeywell EU Flight Ops team is looking for a Flight Operations Expert capable to:

  • Prepare flight tests performed in EU or the US
  • Mediate communication between Flight Ops and HW/SW development teams
  • Create and maintain flight test documentation, Flight Test Plans, Test Cards
  • Support installation of prototypes on a test aircraft
  • Lead the execution of flight tests
  • Process ASCB-D, NOVATEL TISPI, TPA and various other logged flight data
  • Perform aircraft performance modeling in PIANO, Simulink, HSS

This unique position comes with a few requirements:

  • A good technical knowledge of avionics is a must, knowledge of Honeywell EPIC/APEX avionics is preferred
  • Familiarity with radiotelephony to understand ATC and onboard communication is necessary
  • Experience with Test Interface Unit and programming is welcome
  • Knowledge of airport and ATM operations, procedures, legislature is welcome
  • Experience with drones preferred

You are also expected to demonstrate:

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to execute multiple complex activities in parallel under time pressure
  • Willingness to travel
