This is an exciting BMS (Building Management Systems) Service Engineer position, providing maintenance support to one of our key customer sites in the South West Region. You will be responsible for providing expert BMS support to one of the largest sports arena’s in the UK, and will be accountable to the customer stakeholders at a variety of levels. You will be joining and be supported by successful and motivated team, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks to the contracted assets and the day to day running of the contract.
Maintenance testing, start up technical support of BMS Products
Service and maintenance of 3rd party equipment
Perform PPM Maintenance, re-active & commissioning works on BMS systems. The sale of small works & equipment is also covered in the engineers remit
Perform and provide counsel on expert emergency, maintenance, testing, and start-up
Technical support across BMS subsystems from simple to moderately complex in nature. Performs or provides counsel on diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems (both hardware and software.
Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third party equipment
Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses and repairs faults in BMS equipment.
Call Out Rota and Event Support
•Proven demonstrable track record in BMS and controls maintenance.
•Proven experience using a CARE BMS system
•In depth knowledge of building services with the ability to fault find and resolve problems.
•Competency in C-Bus, LON and Excel 5000.
•Comfortable dealing with key stakeholders at varying levels
•Comfortable using an operating system (i.e. Microsoft)
•Experience using Niagara and / or Tridium systems
