This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Homes and Global Distribution team at Honeywell! Homes and Global Distributionis a leader in the home heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) controls and security markets, and a leading global distributor of security and fire protection products.
In 2018, Honeywell will be spinning off the Homes and Global Distribution business into a stand-alone, publicly traded company. Being a stand-alone company will provide the business the independence, focus, direct financial resources, and flexibility required to adapt quickly to market and customer dynamics, and we want you to be part of its evolution.
The Sales Account Manager will ask probing questions to new and existing customers, uncover new sales and service opportunities. The Sales Account Manager will create and close sales orders face-to-face and over the phone. You will convert opportunities to orders via phone, in person, and at industry events. The Sales Account Manager will uncover and build new business relationships, utilizing superior customer service. You will strengthen current business relationships through world-class customer service and product recommendation. You will negotiate price while creating orders or quotes. You will research and resolve customer concerns. You will provide basic product training, sales literature, and arrange for additional, specialized customer training as needed. You will execute on ADI’s robust branch operational plan ensuring customer service satisfaction, data integrity, financial security, inventory planning and accuracy, and overall performance. You will regularly lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than seventy-five pounds (with assistance)
