Senior DevOps Engineer

Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life.

  • Design and develop complete end to end automation environment using configuration/auto-scaling tools.
  • Iterate and expand upon existing CI/CD pipelines to enhance release capabilities.
  • Using Infrastructure-As-Code manage and continue to build out infra service catalog.
  • Lead architecture, monitoring, performance optimization and capacity planning of new infrastructure services to support a high-performance computing environment and ensure 99.9%+ uptime.
  • Configure and tune an enterprise monitoring and instrumentation system(s) to efficiently detect existing issues and predict future issues based on trends.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering field and 4 + years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
WE VALUE
  • Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle
  • 4 + years of experience designing, building and managing large scale infrastructure in AWS and Azure, including experience leveraging one or more coding languages for automation provisioning (Terraform and Ansible.)
  • Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
  • Experience in Linux systems administration, management, best practices, and performance tuning
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
  • AWS, Azure Certification is a plus
  • Experience supporting mission-critical platforms, both physical and virtualized environments, using CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu and Windows.
  • Ability to communicate and transfer knowledge clearly and effectively in both technical and non technical manners.
