To support Honeywell’s transformation, we are hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst committed to gather, compile, analyze and present data/statistics on DevOps and Lean Software delivery metrics enabling and facilitating key stakeholder decision making. As Business Intelligence Analyst, you will build and maintain industry leading scaled data & analytic solutions.

Responsibility

Lead projects and activities from end to end; from early initiation, feasibility and strategy phases to post execution between Business Teams, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, various other support organizations, and potentially Honeywell suppliers, to develop strategies and execute plans for improved customer experiences through best in class solutions, contractual & pricing compliance, Net Tax Benefit (NTB), acquisitions, divestitures, transfer of technology, offset requirements, joint ventures, site to site transitions, and in-sourcing/outsourcing

Focused on helping teams develop better software with adoption of following DevOps capabilities: Test Automation, Deployment Automation, Trunk-Based Development, Shift Left on Security, Version Control, Monitoring, Proactive Notifications, Loosely Coupled Architecture, Empowered Teams, Continuous Integration, and Test Data Management.

Provide detail analytical, statistical support and data intelligence from continuous integration and continuous deploy/delivery (CI/CD) tools, such as: Git/BitBucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, Octopus Deploy, etc. and other potential Tableau sources

Develop models to evaluate potential and identify the value of next best option or alternative for business growth / development

Create systematic / repeatable reporting and executive dashboard metrics. Ensure integrity of metrics being reported and of the data being collected

Aggregation and packaging of data in an easily digestible format allowing quick business decision making

Lead business intelligence data sessions with all stakeholders to prioritize projects and new CI/CD pipeline automation development

Coordinate & eliminate multiple and incomplete sources of data

Support the execution and enhancement of the Management Operating System (MOS), and related scorecards, to meet business needs

Follow and evangelize enterprise standards to ensure high quality automated environment.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business/MIS, Software Engineering or related field
  • Good working knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Processes
  • Experience in data management & analysis with a proven analytical record. (3-5 years)
  • Experience in DevOps and dashboard development. (1-3 years)
  • Detail knowledge of Tableau usage and administration, Power BI, Spotfire, Microsoft
  • technologies such as Analysis services, Azure, and/or other BI application
  • stacks. (3-5 years)
  • Technologist that keeps up on the latest technology, best practices and continues to learn and apply those learning's to the Honeywell environment
  • Team player that puts team first, willing to make the difficult decision and have the difficult conversation while providing clear technical recommendations to leadership that is best for the long term.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines (2+ years).
  • Experience working in an agile environment with full stack teams. (1-3 years).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment focused on delivering a world class web application with an agile methodology utilizing latest technology frameworks. (3-5 years).
  • Experience in one or more programming languages: C#, Java, etc. (1-3 years).
