Delivery Recovery Project Manager

Reporting to the Buildings Recovery leader for respective Strategic Business Enterprise (SBE), this

position is responsible for driving supplier delivery results and improvement across our Buildings factory and buy to sell sourcing locations.

This role includes matrix leadership and/or influence with the following functional roles of the Sourcing Organization:

  • Direct materials procurement Multi-Site Sourcing Leaders and Teams
  • Direct materials strategic sourcing
  • Supplier Transition (CE), Cycle Time
  • Supplier Quality and Development
  • Metrics: OTTR, PPM, Lead Time

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead daily tiered accountability supplier delivery meeting
  • Drive common procurement practices across our sites
  • Ensure strong management operating system in place with tiered escalation to rapidly resolve supplier delivery issues and mitigate supply disruption
  • Partner closely with Materials Management teams on delivery improvement initiatives
  • Actively engage with senior leadership of suppliers to resolve supply issues
  • Collaborate with engineering on multi-sourcing qualification
  • Proactively work with business and suppliers on capacity and lead time improvements to enhance supply flexibility
  • Work with Commodity, Buying, and Cycle Time teams to drive stocking and consignment agreements
  • Deploy and manage operational sourcing excellence across our sites including delivery, lead time, and invoice resolution
  • Lead daily tiered accountability supplier delivery meeting
  • Drive common procurement practices across our sites
  • Ensure strong management operating system in place
  • Partner closely with Materials Management teams on delivery improvement initiatives

    25 Right and Fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth and New Product Introductions

    25 Ensure Relationship development and management with key Supplier Leaderships

    25 Improve Working Capital through Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in Operations and/or Supply Management
  • Experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement including strong ability to work across all functions and levels of an organization both internally and with suppliers
WE VALUE
  • Graduate degree preferred CPIM and/or CPM certification desired
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
  • Previous experience in global high-volume electronics manufacturing business preferred
  • Ability to lead change
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including crisp verbal skills plus excellent listening skills
  • Effective facilitation skills
  • Demonstrates high energy and models behaviors to motivate the team
  • Execution skills including persistent drive for results utilizing sound project management, organizational and problem solving skills
  • Strategic thinking skills including an ability to make sound business judgments related to strategic supply philosophies and initiatives
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of operations management and supply chain processes in a large organization
  • Experienced in managing a complex global supply base
  • A track record of success in leadership positions of increasing complexity and scope
  • Spanish speaking and writing a strong plus
