- Requisition ID: HRD2219Services &Connectivity – Sr. Product Marketing SpecialistHoneywell Aerospace is an $11B+ SBG (Strategic BusinessGroup) with 40,000 employees in over 125 domestic and international locations.We are a leading global aviation supplier designing, manufacturing, anddistributing advanced electronic systems, products, and services to commercial,defense and space industries.As a member of the Services & Connectivity (S&C)Product Management team the candidate will work closely with Product LineLeaders and the Product Action Committee (PAC) to support execution of keystrategies and action plans for identified product line/s - Cabin Management& Information Systems.Connectivity Hardware PAC is comprised of Cabin Management& Information Systems and SATCOM Products. There are several factors thathave to go into the product line short term and long term health that include:Obsolescence Management, Quality, Production Yield, Inventory Reduction, CostTake out Priorities, Value Engineering, Sunsetting/SKU Management, and RDEinvestment just to mention a few.This Sr. Product Marketing Specialist will be responsible forsupporting product operations within the CM&IS portfolio.Establish and Execute an MOS to prioritize andlead IPDS Phase 7 opportunities via harvest pricing, sunsetting,licensing, etc.Develop and Drive Sunset & SKU reduction/managementstrategiesExecute profitability analysis and generatepricing recommendation based on Product statusTrack warranty related costs and identify rootcause and corrective action for major warranty drivers.Engage with OBS COE and ISC to identify, driveand own product obsolescence.Execute Inventory reduction strategies based ondemand forecasting, product life and contractual obligations.Support PAC on the product operations (SKU,Obsolescence, Warranty and Inventory Management) MetricsSupport Information Systems growth pursuits atHTS (IPDS Phase 2)Work collaboratively with stakeholders includingISC Quality & Operations, Customer & Product Support, Law &Contracts, Customer Business team and Obsolescence COE to manage theportfolio throughout its lifecycle, supporting forecasts, working tooptimize inventory levels, and managing SKU’s transitions to accelerateprofitability/SKU metricsBasic Qualifications:Masters Degree in Marketing, Business or relatedfield (MBA with B.E. preferred)3 years related experience (Marketing orBusiness)AdditionalQualifications:Strong written and presentation communicationskillsStrong financial acumen Proficiency in MicrosoftOfficeAnalytical ability to draw conclusions based ondata & drive strategy while balancing the qualitative aspectStrong analytical skills in Excel withfamiliarity with formulas, pivot tables, & other quantitativefunctionalityAbility to work flexible schedule to accommodateglobal teams/timelinesAbility to assert your point of view and drive toa consensus when various stakeholders are involved3 - 5 years of total work experienceBroadaerospace product knowledge is desirable, specifically in the area of AirlineOperations and overall Avionics.
