Honeywell Environmental Energy Solutions Norway is looking for an experienced, customer-oriented individual with excellent technical, communication and interpersonal skills to join our team of professionals in Drammen as Sales Support Specialist .

In this position, you will be an expert in the most advanced and modern portfolio of connected products & software for commercial buildings. You will provide technical support, customer trainings and sales support to Honeywell’s system integrators and partners. You will collaborate with colleagues in the Nordic team and across all of Europe on a daily basis and report to the Nordic Region Sales Director.

Main responsibilities:

  • To handle technical queries from our system integrator partner network, diagnose the root cause and provide solutions
  • To interface with Product Management and TAC System support to facilitate and ensure customer issues are properly addressed
  • To manage a web-based tool tracing customer calls and tickets
  • To plan, organize and execute customer trainings for the supported products/software
  • To support the sales team with daily tasks,
  • To take part in testing and new product introduction (NPI)
  • To work closely with the Norwegian team and wider Nordic organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Background from automation/building automation or similar with 3+ years of experience.
  • Interest in new technology and how and why things work
  • Customer oriented behavior and a “get it done” done attitude
  • Experience with electrical drawings and HVAC and heating plant schematics
  • Solid communications skills and an ability to easily being understood in complex topics
  • Effective verbal and written communications in English and Norwegian
  • Positive and flexible team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HVAC applications, AHU systems, Cooling/Heating, Room Controls etc.
  • Knowledge about Building Management or Industrial Automation Systems such as Scada PLCs and HMIs (preferably Niagara framework, CentraLine)
  • Understanding of practical issues in implementing hardware and software applications, typical failure modes, and best practices.
  • Knowledge at configuration level about Microsoft server operating systems
  • Experience in industrial hardware and industry standard protocols (BACnet, Modbus, RS485)
  • Understanding of basic network concepts and troubleshooting of networks.
