Job description


Mature and extend the new equation-oriented (UniSim EO) simulation platform, including extending the EO unit operations library.

Design and implement mathematical models and software infrastructure.

Developing new chemical engineering units based on material and energy balances and applicable kinetics.

Basic Qualifications

2+ years’ experience in process simulation, preferably with a focus on software development.

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.

Additional Qualifications

Process modeling experience 3+ preferred

Knowledge of Object Oriented concepts and framework.

Diagnose and debug software errors and mathematical convergence errors in multiple model forms and solution methodologies: sequential/simultaneous, steady-state/dynamics, optimization and data reconciliation.

Previous modeling with tools such as MATLAB, gPROMs, Aspen Custom Modeler or similar.
