Honeywell Principal Data Scientist in United States

As a Principal Data Scientist in theAero Services organization, you will:

Work on all stages of data science projects from understanding data to implementing the solutions into products and service offerings

Lead projects both as a principal investigator and project manager, responsible for meeting project requirements on schedule and on budget

Coordinate and lead efforts to innovate by deriving insights from heterogeneous sets of data generated by our suite of Aerospace products

Drive the interaction with Honeywell internal business partners to define, design, and develop solutions to customer problems using data insights derived from quick prototyping of multiple ideas

Provide strategic direction to Honeywell business units regarding usage and implementation of data service offerings

Support and mentor data scientists

You Must Have:

Master’s degree in computer science, marketing and analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, software engineering, physics, or related discipline

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a combination of data science, machine learning, predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or closely related experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming and scripting languages (e.g. R, Python, Java, Perl)

Minimum of 2 years of experience in data visualization (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Ploty)

OR

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing and analytics, applied mathematics, statistics, software engineering, physics,or related discipline

Minimum of 8 years of experience in a combination of data science, machine learning, predictive analytics, statistical modeling, or closely related experience

Minimum of 4 years of experience in programming and scripting languages (e.g. R, Python, Java, Perl)

Minimum of 3 years of experience in data visualization (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Ploty)

We Value:

Experience working with large datasets using Hadoop framework and tools

Demonstrated experience leading teams to monetize data into products and service offerings Ability to communicate and present complex quantitative

analyses in clear and precise manner to leadership team

PhD in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, software engineering, physics, or related discipline in marketing and analytics

Experience with data architectures, data warehousing, and data modeling

Experience with moving prototypes to production environment and optimizing models in production environment

Prior experience working as a Big Data architect / Aerospace knowledge or experience
