Honeywell Material Handler - Level 3 in United States
Material Handler - Level 3A Material handler is required to support the operation is the press & manual assembly areas of the Southend site. Duties to support the Southend site maybe expected to work other shift patterns. A key position in the department, ensuring both internal and external customer expectations are met and improved..
•Maintain health and safety standards in line with the Site Key Safe Behaviors.
•Support the deployment of the Honeywell Operating System (HOS.)
•Goods receiving & Goods dispatch.
•Warehouse management for all raw materials & WIP.
•Palletisation & dispatch of Finished Goods.
•Delivery of materials to point of use.
•Communication of material status & availability.
•Management of waste & returns.
•Collation of consignments for sub contract.
•To order from internal & external Suppliers (usually by Fax ban or Kan ban.)
•To perform SAP data transactions (Stock movement, Stock adjustment, Production bookings etc.)
•Stock checking in line with perpetual inventory process (Cycle Counting.)
•To maintain a tour ready 5‘s’ environment.
•Perform Hazard spotting
•Must be fully committed to achieving the team’s objectives and targets.
•Must be proactive towards improvement ideas/ programs.
•Must be self-motivated and able to work by using their own initiative.
•Must be willing to adapt to new working practices and techniques.
•Qualified Forklift driver would be an advantage although would consider training the right applicant.
•Numerate & accurate.
•Have an excellent working knowledge of SAP
•Must be willing to support Material Handling operations across the site and off site location as necessary.
