Manufacturing and Planning TS IT Lead
This role is responsible for Manufacturing, SIOP & Planning and Prototype Manufacturing TS IT applications. This includes overall responsibility for entire project life cycle as well as Run support as appropriate. This role is also responsible for the team of Honeywell and sub-contracted employees.
Manufacturing Handling System (MHS)
Continuous development and improvement of Manufacturing Handling System and its deployment to TS sites as per the implementation plan. Ensure to cover key process areas:
* Logistics execution - Pull strategy, automatic shop floor replenishment, FIFO, storage and location management, forklift activities coordination, unique bin identification
* Manufacturing execution - Production order mgmt., change over, machine downtime tracking, scrap and rework management, production reports
* Visual Boards - Process KPI’s ranging from incoming to shipment, real time production vs. target, warehouse and replenishment activities
* Full integration with different ERP systems: SAP, QAD
SIOP & Planning
Continuous development and improvement of SIOP, MP3 and Sequencer systems to manage and enhance Supply Chain Highly Integrated Demand, Production and Inventory Planning.
Enable creation of a feasible, “capacity constrained” master production plan.
Ensure the ability to forecast and allocate the next two years of customer demand, discover and solve in advance any potential issues by transferring production to another site, increasing working days & manpower or by split the production across multiple plants.
Allow detailed visibility of the production site with control of line, machine status, setup time, linearity, WIP, idle time and OEE reporting.
Enable Global monthly reviews via SIOP executive deck.
Prototype Manufacturing (PRP)
Continuous development and improvement of PRP application that serves as integrated tool for proto management and tracking.
Allow a tight monitoring of materials movements, improve the shop floor operations management and provide a real-time control and visibility of the steps through advanced dashboard.
Ensure improved task standardization across all TS plants that have a Proto-shop.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Requirements:
Technical advanced degree preferred
Minimum 8 years in IT app environment
Provable project leadership experience – product/service delivery responsible
Experience in Automotive manufacturing environment is a big plus
Perfect understanding of manufacturing processes – engineering level
Statistical expertise in Model generation & validation and Machine learning
Big data expertise in Job management, Data structures, Velocity analysis, Reporting, Data management and master data sync, and Time series expertise
Knowledge of NoSQL queries
Superior verbal and written communication skills – English
Passion for innovation and creating new software products
Collaborative team-player mentality
Ability to manage multiple projects – end to end
Project management certification (PMP) is a plus
Ability to learn new product line and business unit quickly
Report concisely and in a timely fashion the progress of the given tasks
