Honeywell is seeking a Business Development Manager – Cyber Security for our Houston, TX location; However, we are open to any U.S. based Honeywell locations for consideration.

If you possess deep technical cyber security expertise and a successful business development/technical sales track record creating customer relationships and growing business with major accounts, this is the ideal opportunity for you. You will develop collaborative relationships with customer prospects and architect, design and present Honeywell ICS solutions, bills of materials (BOMs) and proposals to meet customer needs; Ultimately, to win managed security services and medium to large-scale cyber security projects.

YOU WILL:

Partner with Honeywell account executives and field service leaders in region, providing cyber security expertise and technical support in the selling of our Industrial Cyber Security solution portfolio. You will participate in customer engagements across multiple levels from CxO-level to Process Engineers, both understanding their needs and articulating the value of our cyber security solutions. The ability to establish customer relationships with key cyber security influencers and decision makers and transition them into profitable business engagements is imperative.

Develop and maintain deep understanding of our Industrial Cyber Security solutions and service offering and the security we embed in Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) products

Understand competitors’ regional value propositions and go-to-market approaches and develop winning sales and solutions strategies

Serve as the primary resource for communications with the regional Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) sales force and customers on Honeywell’s Industrial Cyber Security solutions and service offerings

Lead customer facing proof of concepts and other sales motions to compete and close business

Forecast revenues to BD Director in the form of “pipeline, best case and commit”

Develop and conduct demos of our solutions to both internal and external customers Be trained to configure Vendor BOM’s and quotes to customers

Support Account Managers in exceeding annual sales results in the Americas

Experience negotiating with C-level/Senior Level management in a manufacturing industry

Conduct problem resolution, negotiation and relationship building skills

A hunter like mentality with a proven record of closing seven figure deals with large enterprise accounts

Manage complex sales cycles selling both horizontally and vertically within large organizations

Use a consultative partnering approach that follows a strategic sales process

Develop a robust pipeline by making cold calls and creating relationships with new/existing prospects

Influence cross-functional teams

Travel up to 50% globally

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience with cyber security/information security and/or IT and networking technologies, products and services

• Technical sales support and/or business development experience

WE VALUE:

• Experience in the capabilities and configuration of cyber security controls and solutions; Ex: Identity and access management, network security, endpoint security, application security, IDS/IPS, deep packet inspection, SIEM, data analytics, Big Data, security and risk management consulting

• Successful technical sales track record

• Experience with industrial control systems, process control networks, DCS, SCADA and/or industrial automation
