Associate Production I - Dept. 288 - 1st Shift

Design solutions to drive safe living and quality of life

Perform the duties and tasks associated with departmental operations such as: assembling, soldering, set-up, mixing and applying epoxy, machine set-up and operation, hand assembly, inspecting, and packing. May also include various physical and administrative functions to receive, store and withdraw materials. May train new team members. In order to perform these duties and tasks, employee must have or be willing to obtain the following skills, knowledge, experience, and decision-making abilities

50 Operate assigned equipment

25 Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness

25 Comply with all safety rules

MUST HAVE :

High School Diploma or GED

WE VALUE:

Basic reading, writing, math

Communication, both written and verbal

Problem-solving and organizational skills

Assembly and or basic machine setup

Able to lift 35 pounds

Inspection procedures

Ability to read a Route Sheet, use picture specification, and use scanners and measuring devices and gauges

Planned maintenance

Decision Making

Work scheduling

Analyze information from computer and determine best course of action

On-line or visual inspection for quality

Process Improvements

Determine if engineering contact for problem-solving is necessary

Determine best method to accomplish task

Due to the nature of the assignment, candidates must pass eye test. At the Galena facility, personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety shoes and safety glasses with side shields is required.
