Marcomms Assistant

Working with the Marketing Communications Manager to provide digital and traditional marketing administration support across the entire marketing mix to promote the Honeywell Security and Fire UK business and portfolio of Fire offerings and brands and drive new customer acquisition and business growth.

Principal Responsibilities

•Support the development, implementation and measurement of innovative digital, social media and traditional marketing campaigns for promoting Honeywell UK fire brands.

•Provide support to the planning, development and execution of sales promotion activity and website management.

•Manage day-to-day administration of the marketing budget (raising and logging invoices accordingly to ensure that spend is appropriately allocated per month to meet the needs of the business). Updating the monthly KPI measuring tool and highlighting key findings.

•Respond to sales-team and customer marketing requests and enquiries.

•Opportunity to present interactively and face to face, key activities and priorities at the quarterly sales meetings.

•Proactively contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) communications planning strategies as an integral part of the Marketing team

•Interface with internal and external agencies (press relations, creative design agencies, etc) to progress NPI sales enablement tools, PR, social, digital, E-communications and other sales promotion initiatives.

•Interface with internal Centres of Excellence’s and external suppliers (design and promotional gifts suppliers) that underpin successful delivery of marketing support and App development.

•Liaise with sales teams and customers to facilitate customer events, trade shows and CPD seminars.

•Action all leads and literature enquiries generated from promotional activity, mailing information promptly and distributing enquiry leads to Sales contacts for follow-up as appropriate and to drive a healthy pipeline of marketing qualified leads that drive new customer acquisition.

•Assist and manage partner programme activity to ensure customers are represented professionally in the market place in accordance with brand guidelines.

•Support lead and campaign management in marketing automation and CRM platforms.

THE CANDIDATE

•PC literate with advanced IT skills in Microsoft packages, as well as social media experience.

•Understanding and awareness of basic marketing principles

•Experience with Adobe creative cloud indesign / photoshop (beneficial but not necessary)

•Experience of managing projects (Desirable)

•Strong communications, copy writing/proofing skills and a creative flair

•Strong project management and analytical skills

Education Required

•Marketing degree / junior graduate.
