Honeywell Field Service Engineer I in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The purpose of this position is to perform and provide counsel on expert emergency, maintenance, testing, engineering, programming, designing, and start-up technical support across any type of electrical or mechanical equipment, systems and subsystems (including software where applicable) from simple to moderately complex in nature. Performs or provides counsel on diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems (both hardware and software) beyond the capability of other Service technicians. Provide technical training, coaching, and work direction to other Service engineers and technicians and subcontractors.
Responsibilities: * Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third party equipment (as per trade expertise). * Prepare the shop drawings and application projects specifically for SLJs. * Supervision of field installation, cabling in SLJs. * Determine equipment and accessory needs for implementation and inform FSL or FSS in time. * Carry out design works, programming of HVAC controllers, Fire Panels, Access Control Panels. * Install EBI, prepare graphics and necessary programming works as per specifications. * Be ready on the job site during temporary or final acceptance of SLJs. * Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as per agreed rosters and as directed.
Experience & Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in engineering or related discipline * Minimum 3 years experience with BMS, HVAC, and either Fire or Security or access entry and alarm systems * Minimum 1 year service/maintenance experience * Honeywell and Industry based advanced programming skills * Understands energy impact within facilities and how this can be optimised * Excellent Honeywell product knowledge is preferred * Excellent Knowledge of IOT( Internet of things ) and Cloud connectivity solutions * Ability to interact and build relationships with customers. * Ability to acquire and demonstrate trade skills and/or product knowledge to meet the requirements of the role. * Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of Honeywell products to develop solutions that meet customer’s requirements. * Must be able to work with limited supervision and direct contractors or other service technicians. * Good communication both written and verbal. * The ability to work under pressure. * Strong commitment to safety and safe working environment. * Problem solving headset * Comfortable with agile, iterative selling process * Treats “ Change “ as a way to do business, not a one-time event. * Able to create value by converting customer issues into software driven solutions * Ability to extract customer needs and convert into customer specific value propositions.
