Cloud Services CoE-Operations Engineer

Purpose of the Job

The purpose of this Cloud Services CoE Operations

Engineer role is to provide systems and support for project deliveries across

different market segments and parts of the organisation where they use or

require use of the Virtual Engineering Platform, the Open VEP and Experion

Elevate platforms. The support team will

offer a 24/5 or 24/7 service so shift pattern working will be required.

Principal Responsibilities

Provisioning of systems based on customer request Checking of automated provisioning completion and accuracy Analysis, liaisonand clarification of user requirement Ensuring compliance with use case and security principles Actual system building and provisioning including SCADA application configuration. Escalation of complex and custom system requirements to Cloud Services CoE Operations Manager. Management of user accounts and access Configuring systems for appropriate access Validation of user access requests Providing appropriate access and user notificationsMonitoring user

expiry and providing notifications and renewalsRemoving user access Ensuring

compliance with Honeywell policies on user accessDay

to day business support of users Provisioning support Connectivity support Customer

connectivity support / account administration First

level product support and guidanceImport

progress and technical problems and/or changes to CoE Leader, Technical Leader

or Operations ManagerRespond

customer’s customer issues in timely manner per defined SLA.Track

the changes and maintain the records of changes.Support

Ops manager for metrics and data collections.Resolve

technical issues with support from Platform Design engineer, IT team and other

CoE experts.Maintain

and manage automation scripts and tools.Provide

1. Education Required

Degree in engineering -

Instrumentation and Control or equivalent

Six Sigma Green Belt

Certified will be added advantage.

2. Work Experience Required

5+ years of experience as a project/service

engineer.

Experience essential in

Virtualised system design and system implementation.Operating system and software installationsExperience of Microsoft Active Directory.EPKS / SCADA configuration and server

implementationExperience

VMWare Virtualization principals and

implementationbasic experience of network implementation 3. Preferred Qualifications EPKS

Product certificationCisco CCNA or equivalentFormal coding qualifications (prefer Java /

Powershell) 4. Behavioural Competencies Required Excellent communication

skills – must be able to operate across country and cultural boundariesResults oriented, Global

mindset, Teamwork, Intelligent Risk taking, Self-Awareness 5. Language Requirements Must be able to effectively

communicate in EnglishAdditional languages would
