The Oil & Gas Midstream Sales Specialist will be responsible to develop, drive and grow the HPS Oil & Gas Midstream business in the region.
Work with Regional Managers / Account manager & coordinate customer facing and internal efforts to produce winning value propositions and proposals that win orders and achieve annual assigned quota plan.
Develop and sustain long term customer relationships; establish these relationships while engaging customers at all levels including senior levels of the customer organization; Early engagement in the customer buying process diagnosing customers’ needs and tailoring solutions to match
Maintaining a balanced approach to superior customer service and strategic account planning; Identifies new sales opportunities and focuses on providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into the account
Leverages and marshals cross functional company resources to address customers’ drivers and initiatives in a consultative manner; Guides and leverages management and executive sponsor interactions with the customer; Leads peers by influence to ensure coordination and support to pursue orders
Give inputs on market intelligence: Keep track of competitor products & strategies in the market place; Win-loss analysis vs completion; give imputes for new products and features / limitation to support business for new product initiatives
• Engineering Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical • 3-8 years’ experience in solution sales (DCS / PLC / Safety PLC / RTU / SCADA / Fire & Gas / Field Instrumentation for Oil & Gas customers (Terminals / Pipelines / Skids) • Proven track record of success in the business environment • Good communications skills with internal and external management and customers • Experience in building and maintaining relations at executive levels with End Users, EPC & PMC • Experienced in complex sale, including early engagement in the customer buying cycle at senior levels, building long-term strategic and executive relationships, team selling and opportunity planning
