Honeywell Account Manager-Territory Sales Rep in Northford, Connecticut

  • This position will cover the five New England States in addition to Upstate and Western New York. The Account Manager will have ability to travel up to 75% throughout the territory, including overnight stays and attending Trade Shows. *

Position Responsibilities: •High level of sales and technical proficiency with Video & Access Control Product lines & Low Voltage Security Cable. • Target and convert new customer opportunities using competitive product • Maintain and grow existing customer base • Interface and collaborate with Distribution Channel to train internal sales and new/existing Honeywell business partners • Schedule and execute targeted joint sales calls with Distribution • Perform monthly and/or quarterly events, promos, specials, in conjunction with Inside Sales and Distribution Channel • Competitive analysis: features/benefits, pricing, quality, return policies, etc. • Internal communication and reporting: leadership, inside sales, marketing, product development • Strategic planning and scheduling within territory

Basic Qualifications: -High School Diploma or equivalent - 5 years’ experience in Technical Sales of Electrical or Electronic Equipment -Valid Driver’s License, clean motor vehicle history, and a driving record in good standing

Preferred Qualifications: -Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, preferred -Ability to travel per business needs, up to 75%, including overnight stays & Trade Shows
