Principal Systems Engineer

Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace, Military Electronics Systems Application (MESA.) You will participate in the systems engineering development, design, test and transition to production of various military and commercial aircraft products, such as cockpit displays, mission computers, flight management systems, flight control systems, aircraft communication systems, programmable display generators in addition to several other major aircraft functions. You will work across disciplines within the Military Electronics Systems Application (MESA) business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.
- Participate in Technical Information Meetings (TIMs), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), Flight Testing and customer on-site visit
Support Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers in the development and application of aerospace procedures and guidelines, development of work scope definition, effort estimation as well as program execution

15 Project coordination and budget / schedule responsibility

- Bachelors degree in Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering

- Experience with hardware Lifecycle and Qualification
Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
- Significant engineering experience with ability to adapt dictated by project changes
Lead the development of system requirements, validation, verification, system integration activities and project related tasks
- Experience with interfaces such as PCI Express, Fiber Channel, Serial Rapid IO, DDR2 Memory Bus, Ethernet, ARINC 429 and 717, SATA etc
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.Exempt Honeywell Aerospace Overview
