Lead Specialist - Product Stewardship

Join an organization that demonstrates a proactive health and safety management system, combined with strong employee engagement and environment that fosters continuous improvement. You will lead activities and HSEPS performance metrics for the Performance Management Technologies (PMT) Headquarters in Morris Plains NJ. You will accomplish this by establishing strong working relationships with the site leadership team and the employees. You will report directly to the Sr. Director HSEPS. You will be a key HSEPS resource, directing Product Stewardship programs through incorporation of impactful operating processes and keeping in front of leading practices in product stewardship.

Integrate, monitor, and support product stewardship programs to ensure compliance with the applicable guidelines, procedures, and regulations

Incorporate continuous improvement across the function through Honeywell's Operating System activities

Provide consultation & proactive integration of HSEPS initiatives, keeping a leading edge on product stewardship awareness.

Demonstrated capability to work within the following regulatory areas: TSCA, REACH, and REACH-like regulations, Hazard Communication and emerging regulation identification

Anticipate, communicate, and manage changes with respect to global emerging regulations that would impact existing product lines and benefit new product introduction.

Understand potential product use and misuse (occupational, consumer, etc.) and work across the function to complete appropriate risk assessments.

* YOU MUST HAVE *

  • Bachelor’s Degree. Preference in engineering, biology, chemistry, regulatory affairs, safety, environmental science, or related field.
