The Honeywell HBS Mexico Health, Safety and Environment Leader will provide subject matter expertise that assists the business in managing the risks associated with all operational aspects of the

business.

HS&E Regional Coordinator is responsible for leading HS&E management system for the site. This position reports directly to the HBS Americas HSE Director and with dotted line to the Site Leader and will

ensure the integration of technical HS&E requirements in alignment with Honeywell Behaviors as well as site needs.

You will work towards developing an HSE performance culture that will differentiate us from our competitors and expand Honeywell’s reputation as a low risk provider.Responsibilities:

Compliance to Honeywell corporate requirements and legislation Represent HBS Mexico in the HBS

Americas HSE team Establish relationships and processes with the different business managers in the site to influence all employees to meet HSE goals and objectives Work with the Americas HSE Director to identify actions required to implement and maintain HSE

Certification to OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001.Facilitate a change in HBS culture toward a safe working environment by enhancing the awareness, knowledge, and understanding of Honeywell employees and Sub-contractors Advise management on HSE matters as they affect all aspects of HBS in Mexico. Monitor and Communicate indicators, performance and results of the HSE Management System to the

managers Audit Honeywell managed facilities to ensure we are compliant to statutory and corporate requirements and working to approved risk management plans. (Including fire testing

regulations, emergency response, housekeeping, waste management, etc.)Assist in making HSE a

competitive differentiator for Honeywell in the market place Participate in and support the Crisis and Emergency Management Team Co-ordinate with HBS Americas

HSE Director for corporate compliance and event reporting Conduct regular and ongoing HSE

reviews/inspections of projects and service contracts across the Mexico Work with the Americas HSE Team as required to advance new programs, processes and tools to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HSE practices. Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis Work with the ARL representative to develop and execute the annual work plan for the Prevention

programs (Housekeeping, Ergonomic, Fall Protection, Chemical Hazards,Preventive Medicine, Psychosocial, etc.)Supervise the professionals of the ARL who carry out the activities according to the annual work plan (training, meetings, advice, prevention activities, etc.)Write, update, implement, and manage local HSE Programs, Policies and Procedures to accomplish with the local

law and corporate requirements Supervise the work of inspectors in the field (SISO) of projects and services of projects and service

contracts across the region. Conduct internal audits in accordance with international standards and local legislation Monitor and manage annual budget for the department Advises in the formation and

implementation of health and safety committees and emergency brigade.

YOU MUST HAVE

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Health, Safety, Environmental, Industrial Hygiene or Engineering Minimum 5 years’ experience in a full time HSE role in a field environment (installation and service at customer sites)Excellent English skills (read,write, speak)

  • Willing to travel frequently (usually domestic, some international)
  • Nice to have French or Portuguese skills.
